DJ 22 Xiaguan Mixed use urban renewal 2nd Round

Project description:  We were into the final round and were briefed by jury about their understanding of what were the main elements that different groups had picked up on. The idea in the final round was to take the design further but also include aspects that were working in other schemes. As we were now much closer to winning other teams were asked to join and we submitted 2 different interpretations of my scheme.

DJ 18 Xiaguan Mixed use urban renewal

Project description:  This steel yard in Downtown Nanjing is being relocated to the city periphery and the land is open for redevelopment. The steel merchant required on a small part for their offices. The remainder of the development we proposed apartments, small offices for small business and commercial areas as this is a busy area to be served with future metro systems and part of the city that is being gentrified. The competition had 2 rounds; my scheme was selected for the final round.

DJ 20 Shandong mixed use Urban Renewal

Project description: The project is situated on a coastal resort city of Rizhao along the main boulevard. The project goal was to animate that boulevard and provide activities for holiday makers. The additional accommodation in the towers made the very complex. Two schemes were presented, the first scheme was developed later on.

DJ 25 T-Cell Gene Therapy Campus

Project Description: The campus is dedicated to China’s Number One Killer, Cancer. The campus includes R&D Laboratories, Hospital and treatment center, Lecture and Conference facilities, as well the accommodation for specialized staff, patients being treated and the day to day nursing and care staff.

Responsibilities: Design team leader, and responsible for the design of one scheme.

DJ 24 Nanjing Yuhua Broadcasting Center

Project description: The center was to serve not only as a working broadcasting center for radio, but also to house the offices, the Broadcasting Library, a concert hall where Cultural events could be filmed and broadcast, as well as a commercial component related to the daily functioning of the center. Design and drawing  by Titus.

DJ 40 Jiangsu Provincial Committee Building façade proposals

Project Description: These government buildings built in the 1980’s needed an upgrade not only in terms of maintenance but also in aesthetic and appearance.

Ai 1 United Design Group new office interior

GFA: 2000

Project Description: - The company was moving to new offices and the detailed design needed of the offices and department organization, right down to the furniture, partition and signage design. Being new to the company it was a great way to understand the company and the construction process in China.
