Härryda Future Development Report

The new high speed rail will place a great emphasis on the region between the landvetter Airport and Gothenburg city center. Harryda is presently one of the only metropolitan councils with a new city development plan, and a vast development plan for the nest 20 years. The development report for a pool building tested different development nodes with the municipality.

Mölndal Åbybadet

The is a rapidly developing part of the greater Gothenburg region with the potential to attract a lot of population and be a prominent residential district in Gothenburg. The Old swimming pool building was needing renovation or even complete rebuilding.

This is a project that has been ongoing for several years, but the Kommun has decided to relocate the pool to another site, so we had to redesign to the new site. This project is ongoing, and still in the process.

DJ 41 Jaishan Metro Planning and IBM Data Center GUYUN IBM EXPO HALL

Project Description: This project has at its center very interesting ideas about territorial management and the role of data centers for municipal management of people, territory, infrastructures and environment. This is developed in two components of the city planning models, and urban territory management offices, and the IBM exposition, training and sales center.

DJ 39 Jinning Mixed Use, Shandong province

Project description: This large mixed use project required an urban solution that could integrate residential density, the urban road network and provide an ideal setting for a themed shopping complex with office towers.

GFA: 787 000

Date: 2013-14

Project responsibilities: Design one of the initial proposals, then develop the  final composite scheme.

DJ 38 Guiyang Urban regeneration

Project Description: This complex urban renewal project located in the city center required increased density yet a scaled approach to historical monuments. The project also was almost entirely inside a large parcel of land with canals and little street access.

GFA: 345 000

DJ 36 Nanning Mixed Use Complex

Project description: The site is on the periphery of the old city and is an urban generator for the areas development. Adjacent are plans for large new recreational facilities for sports and culture. This development aims to consolidate this area as a local center.

Project responsibilities: Design of one of various initial schemes, then the design resolution of the final scheme.

DJ 29 Daiyun Guizhou Mixed Use Development

Project Description: The site is complex due to the split created by the water and the limited access from the highway. In combination with the usual program of commercial, retail, hotel and conference the complexity required different strategies to deal with the problem.

Responsibilities: I developed a landscape solution to deal with the terrain, by creating platforms, but also using the landscape to integrate the development

DJ 22 Xiaguan Mixed use urban renewal 2nd Round

Project description:  We were into the final round and were briefed by jury about their understanding of what were the main elements that different groups had picked up on. The idea in the final round was to take the design further but also include aspects that were working in other schemes. As we were now much closer to winning other teams were asked to join and we submitted 2 different interpretations of my scheme.
